Personalized one-to-one online lessons for professionals who want to speak English with clarity, confidence, and ease.
I'm a TEFL-certified English language coach with over 15 years of teaching experience across multiple disciplines. Before specialising in English coaching, I worked as a Special Education and Mathematics teacher in classroom settings — often teaching both concurrently — which gave me a deep understanding of how different people learn and what every student needs to succeed.
I also served as a docent at the Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial in Boise, Idaho — an experience that shaped my belief that language, empathy, and education are inseparable. It's a privilege I carry into every lesson.
With a BA in Economics and an MA in Communications, I bring a professional, analytical edge to my English coaching — especially for business and presentation skills. My students are primarily professionals from Spanish and Russian-speaking backgrounds, and I tailor every session to their specific goals, pace, and personality.
All lessons are held online, so we can work together wherever you are. I'm known for being warm, patient, and genuinely invested in every student's progress.
When I'm not teaching, you'll find me traveling, exploring new cultures, getting lost in a good book, or hiking — usually with a dog by my side. These passions feed directly into my lessons — I love bringing real-world stories, cultural connections, and genuine curiosity into every conversation.
All packages include lesson recordings, study materials, and access to my private student resource library. All lessons are subject to our 12-hour cancellation policy.

IELTS Academic Writing Task 1 asks you to describe visual information — a graph, chart, table, map, or diagram — in at least 150 words. Many students find this challenging not because their English is weak, but because they don't know the right vocabulary and structure.
The good news? Task 1 is very learnable. Once you know the key phrases and follow a clear structure, you can score a 7 or higher consistently.

Book a presentation lesson →If you're a Spanish speaker learning English, you've probably noticed something confusing: the -ED ending at the end of past tense verbs doesn't always sound the same. Wanted sounds different from walked, which sounds different from played. Why?
The good news: there's a simple rule. And once you understand it, everything clicks.
Use this when the verb ends in a T or D sound. This is the only pronunciation that adds an extra syllable to the word.
Use this when the verb ends in a voiceless consonant sound: p, k, s, sh, ch, f, or x. Put your hand on your throat — voiceless sounds produce no vibration.
Use this when the verb ends in a voiced sound — vowels, or consonants like b, g, v, z, m, n, l, r. Voiced sounds make your throat vibrate.
In Spanish, every letter is pronounced. So Spanish speakers naturally want to add a vowel sound after -ED, turning worked into "workéd" with two syllables. The trick is to remember: only pronunciation #1 (ending in T or D) gets an extra syllable. The other two are short and sharp.
The best way to master this is through practice — say the verbs out loud, record yourself, and compare. If you'd like to work on pronunciation in a focused one-to-one session, I offer a specialty -ED endings series designed specifically for Spanish speakers.
